Napili Kai Foundation

For more than 40 years the Napili Kai Foundation has worked to preserve the Hawaiian culture by "passing the torch" to the children of Maui.

Originally created for the children of our employees, the Foundation has grown in scope and purpose. This non-profit organization teaches children the dances, language, history, arts and crafts of Polynesia.

Hula is an important part of Hawaiian culture, so dance instruction is emphasized. Trained by a kumu hula, or hula teacher, youngsters practice several times a week and on Tuesdays they perform for audiences at the Aloha Pavilion.

The Napili Kai Foundation Keiki Hula Show is offered each Tuesday, starting at 5:00pm (December performances may vary). There is a tax deductible entry fee for the performance of $10.00 for adults, $5.00 for children 6-12. Children 5 and under are free. Call 808-669-6271 for reservations.
